EUROPEANA Alignment of the ALPMC-CI (Coleções FLPMC) and Standard of Content:
The RNOD functions to align national content (from the Portuguese national bibliography and the BNP Collections) with Europeana's standards, ensuring that content is at least at the minimum Tier 1 level (searchable in the environment), and often at Tier 2 (i.e. content requires that the metadata includes direct links from the National Registry - RNOD, to the digital or digitalised objects). Our standard of content is Tier 2 (musically and academically speaking), but our content suitable for musical R&D and innovation should be considered beyond this Tier level - probably the tier 3.
The ALPMC-CI publishes 8 journals and 2 separate Cd-Rom series (a total of 10 periodicals).
Our Members, honorary members and also trainees that participate in the Carlofone journal, enjoy the RNOD-Europeana recognised publishing standard.
Interruption on journal publications:
The publication of some journals is sometimes temporarily interrupted for 1 or 2 years to make room and give more space to prioritised journal articles or brief reports, and technical editorials on musical innovation.
